Looking for BrandSort? It's on summer vacation, not available right now, and taking time to recharge and regroup. AKA, we're updating operations. Orders placed after May 15 will arrive in mid July, when shipping resumes. Cool? Good things come to those who wait — or, at least, can wait 'til July.Help your team achieve consensus, prioritize goals, and figure out what they really mean with the words they use. BrandSort Cards build on the brand attributes exercise — the message architecture exercise — introduced in Content Strategy at Work and dozens of workshops since 2012. Now you can get going and guide stakeholders through the trusted three-step process with the complete deck:
- 7 detailed instruction cards to help you facilitate the action and raise questions
- 3 category label cards to guide grouping and organization
- 80 brand attribute cards to capture the most common terms across industries
BrandSort cards are printed in an easy-to-read typeface on a heavy, 16 pt. bright white gloss card stock with a contrasting back side, all designed with a low-glare sheen. Dig those details: even under harsh lights in a conference room, everyone gathered around the table will be able to see the words from a distance — and the varnish will ensure your cards stay free of fingerprints even through the most contentious conversations.
Your cards are sized to be taken seriously at 3.25" x 6.25" and come packaged in a matching heavyweight paperboard box ready to toss in your bag or crack open in front of a client. There's a little surprise waiting just under the lid for you, too.
What else? BrandSort is green in more ways than one. The cards and their case are designed and printed in the USA with 100% vegetable-based inks and water-based aqueous coatings on responsibly forested paper certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. So if one day you've had enough with message architecture, content, and communication goals, don't worry: at least this tool is 100% biodegradable.
As of May 2017, BrandSort is now available worldwide, shipping everywhere via USPS Priority Mail. The only thing greater than international shipping rates was international enthusiasm — so here's to happy cardsorting!
